Isidro Christobal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidro Christobal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Fulgencio Beremundo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, DEPORTIVO SJ's Dito Novaes threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 潘林凡, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 26 minutes into the match, VARGINHA FC's goalkeeper Dito Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiberto Bermudez. In the 27th minute, Otávio Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VARGINHA FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after DEPORTIVO SJ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alvin Thedin took the corner. Herminio Izotz hit a great ball. When Álvaro Gaspar fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VARGINHA FC's protests and gave Álvaro Gaspar a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes VARGINHA FC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Gaspar. After the first half VARGINHA FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josué Paiva to make the kick off. With a little luck, DEPORTIVO SJ's Isidro Christobal got control of the ball when Patxi Palenzuela tried to sneak it across the goal line. DEPORTIVO SJ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Josué Paiva scored to the left of an out of position Isidro Christobal, making the score, 0-4. DEPORTIVO SJ's Isidro Christobal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Gaufred in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Patxi Palenzuela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VARGINHA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Josué Paiva scored 0-6 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidro Christobal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Mohammad in the 91st minute of play. Isidro Christobal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Gaufred in the 93rd minute of the match. The DEPORTIVO SJ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VARGINHA FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
