Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Angelo Vettori kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cesate's goalkeeper Radowit Ptaszek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 4th minute of the match, Angelo Vettori tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Evelio Antoniano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 7 played minutes Criciúma Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Zenon Zapolski. In the 9th minute, Tobiasz Jucha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radowit Ptaszek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bieito Villaurreta, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Attilio Mazzone notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Criciúma Esporte Clube's Evelio Antoniano. Evelio Antoniano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th match minute, Criciúma Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bieito Villaurreta to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bieito Villaurreta in the 26th minute of play forced Cesate's goalkeeper Radowit Ptaszek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radowit Ptaszek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bieito Villaurreta in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cesate's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The corner led to Criciúma Esporte Clube's Gaztea Regalado getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Angelo Ferraris recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evelio Antoniano. Angelo Ferraris showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The supporters of Cesate booed when Criciúma Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baraquiel Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Criciúma Esporte Clube's Paulo Laurentzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radowit Ptaszek narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bieito Villaurreta to strike the kick off in the second half. Bieito Villaurreta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Radowit Ptaszek made a huge save. Radowit Ptaszek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bieito Villaurreta's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Radowit Ptaszek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eriz Marques in the 84th minute. Attilio Mazzone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Evelio Antoniano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Cesate's Comunardo Puja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evelio Antoniano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cesate had won after a very even match.
