A collision led to VARGINHA FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Otávio Netto hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, VARGINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Clementsson came free, but Dito Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marcus Tande fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VARGINHA FC's protests and gave Marcus Tande a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to VARGINHA FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Marcus Tande hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Álvaro Gaspar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Bergqvist was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After some careless play in the VARGINHA FC defense, Timmy Clementsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dito Novaes. The VARGINHA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dito Novaes should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Skånes stolthet! booed when VARGINHA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Sigvard Lange notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes. Dito Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute Benito Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Anszczak in the 33rd minute of play. Hugo Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Tande in the 35th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Josué Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VARGINHA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a little luck, VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes got control of the ball when Timmy Clementsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sigvard Lange stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Skånes stolthet! booed when VARGINHA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin Alin, 51 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Dito Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Clementsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VARGINHA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Accam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 77th minute of the match, Josué Paiva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Bergqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when Ryszard Anszczak put in a rough tackle. The supporters of VARGINHA FC booed when Skånes stolthet! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Anszczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Skånes stolthet!'s zone, Alvin Thedin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Bergqvist came out of the goal and Alvin Thedin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patxi Palenzuela in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Bergqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. VARGINHA FC were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Skånes stolthet!'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alvin Thedin took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alvin Thedin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Bergqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The attack was good, but when Josué Paiva in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 94 minutes into the match, Skånes stolthet!'s goal looked a bit too open when Patxi Palenzuela came free, but Hugo Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match, Alvin Thedin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Bergqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 96th minute, David Accam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the VARGINHA FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Skånes stolthet!.
