Metal Juniors's Francisco Nesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 潘林凡 in the 13th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Martín Palermo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isidro Christobal. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. Martín Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the match, DEPORTIVO SJ's goal looked a bit too open when Martín Palermo came free, but Isidro Christobal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Ireno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidro Christobal having to make a save. In the 30th minute Martín Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Christobal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Metal Juniors's Martín Palermo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Nesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 潘林凡, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Metal Juniors were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after DEPORTIVO SJ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reinaldo Castro took the corner. After taking down the ball on Metal Juniors's corner Reinaldo Castro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Isidro Christobal quite easily take care of the ball. In the 41stth minute of the game Martín Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DEPORTIVO SJ's Isidro Christobal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 42 played minutes Martín Palermo rounded DEPORTIVO SJ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Francisco Nesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 潘林凡, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Martín Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Metal Juniors's Melker Flink got a free kick in the 54th minute. Francisco Nesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 潘林凡 in the 55th minute of the match. When Metal Juniors's Martín Palermo in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Metal Juniors's Sergio Dennis in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. DEPORTIVO SJ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 75th match minute, Metal Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Gerazan to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Nesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 潘林凡 in the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Sergio Dennis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Metal Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Dennis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Christobal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Mohammad in the 88th minute of play forced Metal Juniors's goalkeeper Francisco Nesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes DEPORTIVO SJ got a freekick which was hit by Vaino Funda. In the 95th minute, one of DEPORTIVO SJ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DEPORTIVO SJ. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Metal Juniors had played much better football throughout.
