Hugo Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bieito Villaurreta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Laurentzi in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Bergqvist saved Skånes stolthet! from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Laurentzi in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Bergqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute Bieito Villaurreta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Criciúma Esporte Clube's Evelio Antoniano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Clementsson in the 28th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sigvard Lange was the one to do the kick off.
