Esquipula Bouzon scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Raya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of DeportivoIndependienteMDP booed when Artetas artilleri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Siöman didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Raya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Lapurdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Artetas artilleri's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Lapurdi came free, but David Raya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Raya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Demario in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, one of Artetas artilleri:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 43rd minute, Delmar Lapurdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakub Kiwior during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Artetas artilleri's Jakub Kiwior got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esquipula Bouzon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Artetas artilleri's goal looked a bit too open when Esquipula Bouzon came free, but David Raya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Esquipula Bouzon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DeportivoIndependienteMDP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 65 played minutes Artetas artilleri got a freekick which was hit by Valter Siöman. After a defensive mix-up in DeportivoIndependienteMDP's zone, Martin Ødegaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Eguerdi came out of the goal and Martin Ødegaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Artetas artilleri defense, Nicolas Demario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Raya. The Artetas artilleri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Raya should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Artetas artilleri's zone, Nicolas Demario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Raya came out of the goal and Nicolas Demario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The DeportivoIndependienteMDP supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DeportivoIndependienteMDP would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
