Hugo Bergqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 11 minutes into the match, Skånes stolthet!'s David Accam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Eguerdi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Skånes stolthet!'s Hugo Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Demario in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in DeportivoIndependienteMDP's zone, David Accam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Eguerdi came out of the goal and David Accam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Lapurdi in the 21st minute of play forced Skånes stolthet!'s goalkeeper Hugo Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasio Eguerdi made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Accam in the 24th minute. A hard shot 26 in the game by David Accam from a close distance when the talented Anastasio Eguerdi managed to make a qualified save. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's players were relieved. Hugo Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Demario in the 28th minute of play. If Esquipula Bouzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Sérgio Barreto was substituted for Gustavo Orlanda.
