Meng Qiang Liang's late challenge caught a Vivant's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Meng Qiang Liang helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Meng Qiang Liang. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilário Bento in the 47th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcial Estavan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dagoberto Neila to strike the kick off in the second half. The Vivant fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Vivant's Larry Hallam looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE F.C. booed when Vivant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Sfetcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Larry Hallam who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Marcial Estavan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vivant's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Youri Van Der Talen in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hilário Bento came free, but Marcial Estavan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Estavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilário Bento in the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Larry Hallam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vivant's supporters rose to their feet, but Larry Hallam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Estavan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The INDEPENDIENTE F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vivant's performance. The match ended with a win for Vivant.
