Dito Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Vettori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radowit Ptaszek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Tande in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Angelo Vettori left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cesate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Josué Paiva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Radowit Ptaszek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Norbert Tepper kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 25 played minutes, Cesate's Angelo Ferraris shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dito Novaes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cesate reached it. Radowit Ptaszek was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Alvin Thedin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alvin Thedin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, VARGINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Frezza came free, but Dito Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josué Paiva got free with Radowit Ptaszek in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Josué Paivas short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Radowit Ptaszek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. VARGINHA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alvin Thedin in the 37th minute. A nice corner shot did that Benito Gaufred got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Radowit Ptaszek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 38th minute of the match VARGINHA FC got a corner. Cesate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alvin Thedin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alvin Thedin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Radowit Ptaszek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mauro Galvão hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josué Paiva got free with Radowit Ptaszek in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dito Novaes made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Angelo Ferraris sent off a good shot on target. In the 51st match minute, VARGINHA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Paiva to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Gustaw Nienajadlo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Dito Novaes to make any attempt to save it. Roger Stam kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the VARGINHA FC defense, Kay Stormlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dito Novaes. The VARGINHA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dito Novaes should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josué Paiva in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radowit Ptaszek saved Cesate from getting behind. Dito Novaes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Vettori's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Florian Carlini kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, VARGINHA FC's Josué Paiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radowit Ptaszek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Radowit Ptaszek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Cesate's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Gaspar came free, but Radowit Ptaszek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dito Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Vettori, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes Cesate got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Nienajadlo. A collision led to VARGINHA FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Davide Lucchetti hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Kay Stormlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cesate's supporters rose to their feet, but Kay Stormlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dito Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The VARGINHA FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cesate's performance. The match ended with a win for Cesate.
