The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The supporters of DUBAI Palm Jumeirah booed when FC AdibA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Mănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Bocu came free, but Aguirre Verde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC AdibA's Avram Panait played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jürgen Fahlgren in the 12th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Jürgen Fahlgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Avram Panait was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 15 minutes into the match, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's goalkeeper Aguirre Verde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelian Bocu. In the 17th minute Răzvan Zamfira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aguirre Verde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aguirre Verde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Dică in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, FC AdibA's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Gutierrez-Pacheco came free, but Avram Panait reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC AdibA's Costin Maghear shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aguirre Verde but with some difficulty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gelu Troncotă during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 37 minutes into the match, DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's Jürgen Fahlgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Avram Panait narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Avram Panait was left in no man's land by his defense there! DUBAI Palm Jumeirah's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, FC AdibA's Costin Maghear got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC AdibA's Sandu Gordunescu fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. DUBAI Palm Jumeirah walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
