The referee ignored FC AdibA's protests and gave Ioan Filimon a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Criciúma Esporte Clube's Paulo Laurentzi tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Laurentzi in the 16th minute of play forced FC AdibA's goalkeeper Avram Panait to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Emin Kamer charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantin Dică to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, FC AdibA's goalkeeper Avram Panait had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bieito Villaurreta. Paulo Laurentzi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Avram Panait came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo Laurentzi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelian Bocu during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes FC AdibA got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Bocu. In the 61st minute, Paulo Laurentzi fired a really elegant long shot, but Avram Panait threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Criciúma Esporte Clube's attentive Tauro Camero managed to snatch the ball when Ionuț Istrăteanu made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Laurentzi in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Avram Panait saved FC AdibA from getting behind. Avram Panait was a little too slow when Paulo Laurentzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bieito Villaurreta in the 74th minute of play forced FC AdibA's goalkeeper Avram Panait to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Avram Panait managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Criciúma Esporte Clube's Bieito Villaurreta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Criciúma Esporte Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
