After 20 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Duro Miner. With a little luck, Argentinean Patriots 1816's Isidoro Rio got control of the ball when Albert Filipoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Stoiculescu in the 24th minute of play forced Argentinean Patriots 1816's goalkeeper Isidoro Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Traian Stoiculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bello Cura in the 31st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bello Cura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ysmael Marfil was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Argentinean Patriots 1816's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DINAMO the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Bert Homøe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Claudio Cina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Otávio Penha tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ysmael Marfil. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-4 in the 47th minute. Argentinean Patriots 1816's Ben-Ami Ranchin was substituted for Tomás Frantzes. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Pekka Rollins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ysmael Marfil made a huge save. Ysmael Marfil made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Bello Cura sent off a good shot on target. Isidoro Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Borcz in the 77th minute of play. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bello Cura in the 78th minute of the match. Ryszard Borcz's late challenge caught a Argentinean Patriots 1816's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ryszard Borcz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Argentinean Patriots 1816's Pekka Rollins ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ysmael Marfil. Ysmael Marfil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Isidoro Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Borcz in the 87th minute of play. Bello Cura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ysmael Marfil having to make a save. In the 88th minute Bello Cura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Borcz in the 90th minute of play forced Argentinean Patriots 1816's goalkeeper Isidoro Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
