Gu Chang Peng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Isidoro Rio made a huge save. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bello Cura in the 43rd minute of play. Bello Cura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Mannie having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The audience was convinced that Gu Chang Peng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidoro Rio was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Gu Chang Peng put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Isidoro Rio. In the 60th minute of the match Ripa FC got a corner. Argentinean Patriots 1816's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Smith Wigglesworth ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Prospero Tomi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to Ripa FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alvaro Jakes hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the game, Wieslaw Zawada threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ripa FC's Smith Wigglesworth quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Aldo Mannie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pekka Rollins in the 69th minute. Bello Cura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ripa FC made a substitution. Ricardo Bochini replaced Joel Tehas. Ripa FC's Placido Pero was substituted for Alvaro Jakes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Torres in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Rio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the game, Ripa FC's Ricardo Bochini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidoro Rio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Bochini in the 88th minute of play forced Argentinean Patriots 1816's goalkeeper Isidoro Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Rio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Bochini's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Isidoro Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Torres in the 93rd minute of the match. Argentinean Patriots 1816's Isidoro Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bochini in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Argentinean Patriots 1816's Jurre van Heiningen got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Ripa FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
