The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ariel Ponc made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Marcelo Cavenaghi sent off a good shot on target. Taltum FC were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Villa Mitre City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Norbert Dabrowski took the corner. Flavio Cifuentes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Cifuentes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ariel Ponc made a huge save. After 18 minutes Villa Mitre City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norbert Dabrowski who took care of the corner kick. Norbert Dabrowski made a great header on Taltum FC's corner, it was just that Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc managed to reach the ball for a save. 24 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre City's goal looked a bit too open when Espinosa Marco came free, but Ariel Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Fernendo in the 26th minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Cifuentes in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ariel Ponc, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 30th minute, Flavio Cifuentes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Ponc was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Flavio Cifuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute of the match, Flavio Cifuentes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ariel Ponc saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 39 minutes in the game Eloy Urdaspal did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Feliciano Fernendo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Villa Mitre City made a substitution. Imam Sarwono replaced Saturnino Lehior. Villa Mitre City's Mauricio Macías was substituted for Arsenio Maria. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavio Cifuentes made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre City's goal looked a bit too open when Roldan Castellanos came free, but Ariel Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Macías. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Ariel Ponc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urbano Mendiko hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Mauricio Macías could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Zhang Hao Qing made a huge save. A collision led to Villa Mitre City getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Benigno Ibañez hit a great ball. Ariel Ponc came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Taltum FC's Norbert Dabrowski. But to his dismay, Norbert Dabrowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Cifuentes in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Ponc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute of the match Taltum FC got a corner. Villa Mitre City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Norbert Dabrowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Norbert Dabrowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc did a great save. When Taltum FC's Flavio Cifuentes in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villa Mitre City's goalie prevented a goal. In the 82nd minute Flavio Cifuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Ponc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute Taltum FC were awarded a corner. Norbert Dabrowski went to the cornerflag to take it. 87 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre City's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Cifuentes came free, but Ariel Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Fernendo in the 88th minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Mattias Wickander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ariel Ponc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Taltum FC's Di Le Jun got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Taltum FC could leave the field as winners, despite Villa Mitre City having more of the ball for most of the match.
