After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Severino Gabrio got a free kick in the 16th minute. A collision led to Azulgranas AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Sebastián Méndez hit a great ball. Leo Henric made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli in the 21st minute of play. Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Falckner FC from getting a goal against them. Azulgranas AFC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Falckner FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radomir Naskrent took the corner. Azulgranas AFC's Radomir Naskrent was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Loco De la Maza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 26th minute, Gianluca Vialli made a precise shot to the right of Leo Henric. Azulgranas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Gianluca Vialli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Henric was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, Gianluca Vialli notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Azulgranas AFC's Leo Henric. Gianluca Vialli was slow to take the kick. During this time Falckner FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gianluca Vialli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Azulgranas AFC's Leo Henric did a great save. Falckner FC were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Azulgranas AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gianluca Vialli took the corner. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gianluca Vialli made a kick off. After 52 minutes Azulgranas AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gianluca Vialli who took care of the corner kick. Azulgranas AFC's Leo Henric proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Azulgranas AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Manuel Cruz in the 56th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Azulgranas AFC's Leo Henric got control of the ball when Gianluca Vialli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michaël Myers in the 64th minute of play. Loco De la Maza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Manuel Cruz in the 65th minute of the match. Gianluca Vialli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. But to his dismay, Juan Manuel Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 89th minute Michaël Myers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco De la Maza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loco De la Maza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michaël Myers in the 90th minute of the match. After 91 minutes Falckner FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radomir Naskrent who took care of the corner kick. In the 93rd minute Azulgranas AFC were awarded a corner. Radomir Naskrent went to the cornerflag to take it.
