But to his dismay, Benedicto Afonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, La Mazorca's Rosendo Orkatz got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clodoveo Neto got free with Karol Kluczyk in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Mazorca's Karol Kluczyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save La Mazorca from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Clodoveo Neto made a precise shot to the right of Karol Kluczyk. La Mazorca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. AC Rangers's Rosendo Balesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Silvino in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match La Mazorca got a corner. AC Rangers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alvaro Galsino ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on La Mazorca's corner Mårten Svartengren fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rosendo Balesio quite easily take care of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Crispin Grassow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, AC Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Silvino came free, but Rosendo Balesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

AC Rangers made a substitution. Amancio Inocente replaced Emiliano Aznaro. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horacio Silvino made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Horacio Silvino took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Rosendo Balesio to make any attempt to save it. Rosendo Balesio made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Horacio Silvino sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Rangers's goalkeeper Rosendo Balesio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guido Ler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Karol Kluczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AC Rangers's Napoleon Penkalski was substituted for Crispin Grassow. Rosendo Balesio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horacio Silvino in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, La Mazorca's Horacio Silvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosendo Balesio narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
