With a little luck, Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis got control of the ball when Leopoldo Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Napoleon Dziedelonis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Baumer in the 13th minute of the match. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Libertad, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Napoleon Dziedelonis made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Leopoldo Rosa sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Libertad came free, but Napoleon Dziedelonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Saul Lamberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darryl Buckner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Napoleon Dziedelonis came out and tried to block the shot, but Darryl Buckner slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 39th minute. Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Buckner in the 43rd minute of play. Dep Colonia Avellaneda were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Zuberbühler FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudio Cerritos took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Claudio Cerritos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Napoleon Dziedelonis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marciano Min to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Leopoldo Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Dziedelonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Napoleon Dziedelonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Rosa in the 57th minute of play. Marciano Min sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Jonathan Iruinea was slow to take the kick. During this time Zuberbühler FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalie and right to Saul Lamberto. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 78th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Claudio Cerritos hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Lamberto in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Claudio Cerritos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Lastur. 88 minutes into the game, Florentino Lastur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victoriano Bernaldo. Florentino Lastur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Victoriano Bernaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Lastur in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Iruinea who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Zuberbühler FC's Jonathan Iruinea to fire away a dangerous shot which Victoriano Bernaldo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Florentino Lasturs short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Victoriano Bernaldo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Darryl Buckner sped through Zuberbühler FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Napoleon Dziedelonis. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Zuberbühler FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
