After 7 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Borcz. In the 9th minute, one of DINAMO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DINAMO. The referee gave Dep Colonia Avellaneda a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Santo Libertad, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil. 0-1. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Borcz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14thth minute of the game Darryl Buckner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the DINAMO defense, Darryl Buckner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ysmael Marfil. The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ysmael Marfil should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute Ryszard Borcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ysmael Marfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Buckner, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Cina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The DINAMO fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when DINAMO's Ryszard Borcz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Victoriano Bernaldo made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Moise Vlădean sent off a good shot on target. Moise Vlădean's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Victoriano Bernaldo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Borcz in the 34th minute of play. Ysmael Marfil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darryl Buckner's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Cina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute DINAMO were awarded a corner. Dorin Agârbiceanu went to the cornerflag to take it. Darryl Buckner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ysmael Marfil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DINAMO's goalie prevented a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ryszard Borcz to make the kick off. Moise Vlădean struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Victoriano Bernaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DINAMO. Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darryl Buckner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vasile Tufescu during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Dep Colonia Avellaneda getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Vasile Tufescu hit a great ball. But to his dismay, Ryszard Borcz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Petru Avramescu hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ryszard Borcz was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Dep Colonia Avellaneda booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Borcz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ysmael Marfil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darryl Buckner in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Darryl Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moise Vlădean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Bernaldo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Dino Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. DINAMO's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Bernaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 82 in the game by Darryl Buckner from a close distance when the talented Ysmael Marfil managed to make a qualified save. DINAMO's players were relieved. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Buckner in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Félix in the 86th minute of play forced Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Claudio Cina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DINAMO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dep Colonia Avellaneda the free kick. Claudio Cina kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Ysmael Marfil was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Darryl Buckner capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Darryl Buckner really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. With a little luck, DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil got control of the ball when Darryl Buckner tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match, Darryl Buckner tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ysmael Marfil saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 95th minute, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Leopoldo Rosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4.
