Leo Henric didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Mo Yi Sang took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Leo Henric to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Juan Manuel Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Carlomagno came out of the goal and Juan Manuel Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Mo Yi Sang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Azulgranas AFC's Leo Henric was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mo Yi Sang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Henric having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Juan Manuel Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Manuel Cruz made a kick off. In the 54th minute Mo Yi Sang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Henric saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Azulgranas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mo Yi Sang came free, but Leo Henric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno got control of the ball when Mateo Transito tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Azulgranas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastián Méndez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mo Yi Sang might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Henric. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mo Yi Sang ran back to his position shaking his head. Mo Yi Sang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leo Henric having to make a save. After 95 played minutes Azulgranas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lilko Grúmenov. San Lorenzo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
