Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Agustin Abaunza kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustin Abaunza in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingo Diaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Areco FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nói Ado in the 5th minute. Nói Ado made a great header on Areco FC's corner, it was just that Chacarita Jrs's Domingo Diaz managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Areco FC booed when Chacarita Jrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the game's 10th minute Areco FC's Nói Ado took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Domingo Diaz and thus the score was 0-1. In the 13thth minute of the game Agustin Abaunza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacarita Jrs's Domingo Diaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domingo Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Abaunza in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Abaunza in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Diaz saved Chacarita Jrs from getting behind. A collision led to Chacarita Jrs getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Benicio Porfirio hit a great ball. Agustin Abaunza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Domingo Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Eskuin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingo Diaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Abaunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Sol scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingo Diaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Chacarita Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Sol came free, but Domingo Diaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Areco FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nói Ado in the 31st minute. A nice corner shot did that Nói Ado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Domingo Diaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Domingo Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Abaunza in the 34th minute of play. Chacarita Jrs's Domingo Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Abaunza in the 41st minute of play. Areco FC's Lucio Galo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Esdras to make the kick off. If Lucio Galo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Venancio Sendoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Abaunza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Domingo Diaz came out and tried to block the shot, but Agustin Abaunza slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Abaunza got free with Domingo Diaz in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Agustin Abaunza notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Chacarita Jrs's Domingo Diaz. Domingo Diaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita Jrs's zone, Zeledon Sol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Diaz came out of the goal and Zeledon Sol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Agustin Abaunza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Diaz was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match, Agustin Abaunza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingo Diaz. Chacarita Jrs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustin Abaunza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Chacarita Jrs's Domingo Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Abaunza in the 75th minute of play. Agustin Abaunza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Agustin Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Areco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Abaunza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Diaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Chacarita Jrs's Benicio Porfirio got a free kick in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Chacarita Jrs getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Arturo Berart hit a great ball. Areco FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nói Ado in the 86th minute. Domingo Diaz had great luck who in the 89thth minute grab hold of the ball when Agustin Abaunza from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 95th minute, one of Chacarita Jrs:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chacarita Jrs. After a rather tough play, Areco FC's Zeledon Sol got a free kick in the 98th minute. When the final whistle sounded Areco FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chacarita Jrs.
