With a little luck, DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil got control of the ball when Juan Manuel Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Azulgranas AFC's Sebastián Méndez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dorin Agârbiceanu, made in the 9th minute of the game. Juan Manuel Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ysmael Marfil made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petru Avramescu in the 23rd minute of play forced Azulgranas AFC's goalkeeper Leo Henric to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Manuel Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ysmael Marfil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Manuel Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. When Juan Manuel Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Azulgranas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Manuel Cruz couldn't finish the play. Dorin Agârbiceanu got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lucrețiu Nicodim. Leo Henric made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Cina in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Cina in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Henric saved Azulgranas AFC from getting behind. The throw-in from Dorin Agârbiceanu in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Azulgranas AFC's Sebastián Méndez. After having played for 44 minutes, Juan Manuel Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azulgranas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Manuel Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Cina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dorin Agârbiceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorin Agârbiceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ysmael Marfil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Azulgranas AFC's Juan Manuel Cruz in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DINAMO's goalie prevented a goal. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Beremundo in the 81st minute of the match. After 83 minutes DINAMO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radomir Naskrent who took care of the corner kick. Flavio Beremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ysmael Marfil having to interfere. Moise Vlădean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Leo Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Azulgranas AFC fully deserved thier win.
