When San Lorenzo's Mo Yi Sang in 30 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Nicasio Benino guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 31st minute Mo Yi Sang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Benino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mo Yi Sang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Amelie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mo Yi Sang came free, but Nicasio Benino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo from getting a goal against them. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mo Yi Sang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The corner led San Lorenzo's Gigi Penaru to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicasio Benino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mo Yi Sang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicasio Benino. That made the score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Kara Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo's supporters rose to their feet, but Kara Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Benino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mo Yi Sang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Nicasio Benino made a huge save. Kara Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amelie FC were furious when Marcial Leoiar was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 87 minutes into the game, one of Amelie FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Jan Wallman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The San Lorenzo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing San Lorenzo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
