Leonardo Timo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Paulus Van Poucke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Benino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Amelie FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Maravilla were winning 0-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cruz Credo in the 61st minute of play forced Amelie FC's goalkeeper Nicasio Benino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes, Nemanja Vidić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maravilla and the Amelie FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcial Leoiar struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Facundo Altamirano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amelie FC. A hard shot by Paulus Van Poucke from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Nicasio Benino's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Nemanja Vidić hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
