Clodoveo Ursino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Lohitzun, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute Anacleto Lohitzun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Ursino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Herensuge scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pablo-Enrique Escobar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Marco Herensuge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jorge Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elián Jazmin's late challenge caught a ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Herensuge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. The River Plate ® 9-12 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo-Enrique Escobar should have stopped the shot. If Hector Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Herensuge to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Herensuge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Sal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. River Plate ® 9-12 made a substitution. Despite this Pablo-Enrique Escobar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Hector Dabi came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the River Plate ® 9-12 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Dabi couldn't finish the play. Clodoveo Ursino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammet Ökten, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
