When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Ricardo Giusti took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Santiago Cordarell to make any attempt to save it. Santiago Cordarell made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Adolfo Ayala sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute of the match, Ricardo Giusti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santiago Cordarell saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Adolfo Ayala in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santiago Cordarell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eulalio Eder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Cordarell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Atarrabi got free with Santiago Cordarell in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Ospin charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Ospin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bresikas getting a freekick after 93 minutes play.
