Cementerio Club's Wlodzimierz Penczkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cementerio Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucio Tab in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Claudio Echeverri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martín Herrera was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Wlodzimierz Penczkowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wlodzimierz Penczkowski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Wlodzimierz Penczkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Wlodzimierz Penczkowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martín Herrera. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. Cementerio Club were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Tres Lomas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucio Tab took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Siro Bittor heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Martín Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Penczkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Antonio Benitez's late challenge caught a Tres Lomas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 46th minute of the match Cementerio Club got a corner. Tres Lomas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucio Tab ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Cementerio Club's Lucio Tab to fire away a dangerous shot which Martín Herrera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 79th minute, Wlodzimierz Penczkowski made a precise shot to the right of Martín Herrera. Tres Lomas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Martín Herrera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wlodzimierz Penczkowski's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cementerio Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tres Lomas FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
