Norberto Medardo's late challenge caught a MOEBIO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Medardo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Black Rose 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Medardo to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Eneas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Astor Txema came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Black Rose 1979 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Txema couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Eneas in the 16th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Zacarias Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Eneas in the 22nd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Matxin came free, but Zacarias Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Black Rose 1979's Zacarias Abreu got control of the ball when Flavio Eneas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flavio Eneas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Zacarias Abreu made a huge save. When Fabio Matxin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 42 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Zacarias Abreu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. MOEBIO's Filomeno Luar got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Eneas to strike the kick off in the second half. If Leo Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Ipar hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 67 played minutes MOEBIO got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Chumo. In the 71st minute, Norberto Medardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Rose 1979 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 77 minutes into the match, Flavio Eneas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Black Rose 1979's Zacarias Abreu. Zacarias Abreu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Luar in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Abreu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the game, Alvaro Chumo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MOEBIO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Rose 1979 the free kick. In the 85th minute Norberto Medardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Castulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Celedonio Iraitz got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Despite being the better team, MOEBIO failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
