The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Americo Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, NUMBA's Rafael Bela got a free kick in the 20th minute. Real Academia Serengetti's Cornelio Bonifaco got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Arnaldo Txurio fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NUMBA's protests and gave Arnaldo Txurio a yellow card for diving instead. Arnaldo Txurio hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Juan Perrando was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jeronimo Tebaldo. The supporters of NUMBA booed when Real Academia Serengetti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Cai didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, NUMBA's Juan Perrando got control of the ball when Americo Ferrer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Bela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Sabin having to interfere. NUMBA's Artemio Ignazio got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Americo Ferrer to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, NUMBA's Paulino Sidro got a free kick in the 51st minute. Juan Perrando didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Real Academia Serengetti's Americo Ferrer shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 59th minute, Americo Ferrer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Anibal Cebo charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anibal Cebo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anibal Cebo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match.
