Clodoveo Mannie hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Eustacio Piearres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Haritz in the 11th minute of play. Ciro Conrao kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Gustavo Haritz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Haritz in the 22nd minute of play forced Berutti FC's goalkeeper Eustacio Piearres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Matthew blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Monico Montoya having to make a save. Monico Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Matthew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustacio Piearres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Haritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Saul Silbestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Monico Montoya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Haritz to strike the kick off in the second half. Big Babousa were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Berutti FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernabe Bazil took the corner. After taking down the ball on Big Babousa's corner Bernabe Bazil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eustacio Piearres quite easily take care of the ball. Serafin James charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafin James the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clodoveo Mannie's late challenge caught a Big Babousa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Mannie helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Berutti FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Clodoveo Mannie hit a great ball. When Saul Silbestre came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Berutti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Silbestre couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Mero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Eustacio Piearres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Gustavo Haritz made a precise shot to the right of Eustacio Piearres. Berutti FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Berutti FC's zone, Gustavo Haritz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustacio Piearres came out of the goal and Gustavo Haritz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Berutti FC's Saul Silbestre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Monico Montoya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute of the match Berutti FC got a corner. Big Babousa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saul Silbestre ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Serafin James heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 87 minutes into the match, Berutti FC's Saul Silbestre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Monico Montoya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th play minute Gustavo Haritz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eustacio Piearres. 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Big Babousa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
