After a defensive mix-up in Barrilete Cósmico's zone, Ermegildo Joey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Tab came out of the goal and Ermegildo Joey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Joey in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Tab saved Barrilete Cósmico from getting behind. In the 9th minute of the match, Jonatan Cuarto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ernesto Seme was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jonatan Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Seme having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Ubaldo Eguen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrilete Cósmico and the Islas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ubaldo Eguen hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Ermegildo Joey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Islas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Joey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Tab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermegildo Joey's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 24th minute, Sergio Fernendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th play minute Jonatan Cuarto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ernesto Seme. 1-0. When Islas FC's Ermegildo Joey in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barrilete Cósmico's goalie prevented a goal. Fernando Tab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Joey, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cósmico's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Joey came free, but Fernando Tab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Tab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Joey in the 44th minute of the match. Jonas Perrando hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermegildo Joey to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Amador Mundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrilete Cósmico and the Islas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico got a freekick which was hit by Amador Mundo. In the 53rd minute of the match Nicolas Iruinea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Tab showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 54th minute of the match, Ermegildo Joey tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernando Tab saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Barrilete Cósmico's Fernando Tab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Barrilete Cósmico from getting a goal against them. Ernesto Seme came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrilete Cósmico's Epifanio Orkatz. But to his dismay, Epifanio Orkatz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Islas FC's Teodoro Estebano suffered a fractured collar bone after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Jonatan Cuarto fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrilete Cósmico's protests and gave Jonatan Cuarto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Barrilete Cósmico's Jonatan Cuarto got a free kick in the 61st minute. Islas FC's Ernesto Seme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Orkatz in the 64th minute of play. A hard shot 65 in the game by Sergio Fernendo from a close distance when the talented Fernando Tab managed to make a qualified save. Barrilete Cósmico's players were relieved. After 66 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico got a freekick which was hit by Amador Mundo. Ernesto Seme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Cuarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The supporters of Islas FC booed when Barrilete Cósmico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Eguen didn't get a good kick on the ball.
