In the 7th minute, Alfredo Harriet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cósmico's Epifanio Orkatz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualterio Loco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 12 minutes Quebrachitos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marciano Rey who took care of the corner kick. After 21 minutes, Alfredo Harriet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebrachitos FC and the Barrilete Cósmico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Quebrachitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Harriet to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Quebrachitos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barrilete Cósmico:s goal. Quebrachitos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Epifanio Orkatz scored to the left of an out of position Gualterio Loco, making the score, 2-1. In the 33rd minute, Marciano Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper Luciano Azeari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gualterio Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Orkatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Cuarto. When Tadeo Mannie fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quebrachitos FC's protests and gave Tadeo Mannie a yellow card for diving instead. Tadeo Mannie kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Epifanio Orkatz made the kick off in the second half. Atilano Qwinton struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Luciano Azeari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quebrachitos FC. In the 56th minute Guillermo Bortzaioriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Azeari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Orkatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gualterio Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Quebrachitos FC booed when Barrilete Cósmico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Bitxintxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Epifanio Orkatz took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualterio Loco. Gualterio Loco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 77th match minute, Barrilete Cósmico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Rubio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Orkatz in the 88th minute of play forced Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Azeari having to interfere. Barrilete Cósmico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
