The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matias Abella during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Alzaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Abella to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Alzaga FC's Conan Ledesma got control of the ball when Vincente Felice tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game Manuel Ekain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Snorlax FC's Jhonny Herrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jhonny Herrera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natalio Elivareo's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 28 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Ekain came free, but Jhonny Herrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Alzaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Abella. Conan Ledesma was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sebastian Piñera. If Manuel Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Ekain struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jhonny Herrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alzaga FC. Manuel Ekain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jhonny Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes, Alzaga FC's Emanuel Kinsen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jhonny Herrera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alzaga FC reached it. Sebastian Piñera took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Conan Ledesma. Alzaga FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Ekain was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Manuel Ekain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Snorlax FC's Jhonny Herrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Ekain in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jhonny Herrera saved Snorlax FC from getting behind. Snorlax FC's Jhonny Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Ekain in the 55th minute of play. César Balladares charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Balladares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Manuel Ekain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jhonny Herrera was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Adam Nicoletti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conan Ledesma having to interfere. Alzaga FC's Severo Gilen was substituted for Martin Indartsu. Jhonny Herrera had great luck who in the 70thth minute grab hold of the ball when Manuel Ekain from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 71 minutes Snorlax FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Manuel Ekain who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Ekain in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jhonny Herrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Snorlax FC booed when Alzaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Fernández didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Alzaga FC's Manuel Ekain got a free kick in the 79th minute. Jhonny Herrera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manuel Ekain showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 82 minute of play. The Alzaga FC fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Alzaga FC's Manuel Ekain looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 91 minutes into the match, Manuel Ekain dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jhonny Herrera, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Snorlax FC's zone, Manuel Ekain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jhonny Herrera came out of the goal and Manuel Ekain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alzaga FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
