La Maquina 9-12-18's Saverio Dominix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Gaizkine in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Quebrachitos FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alfredo Harriet hit a great ball. Gualterio Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Urtsua in the 12th minute of play. When Celedonio Gaizkine came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Quebrachitos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Gaizkine couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Alex Sarr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quebrachitos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Sarr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 23rd minute Juan Telo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes, Tadeo Mannie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebrachitos FC and the La Maquina 9-12-18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Teo Arce fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Maquina 9-12-18's protests and gave Teo Arce a yellow card for diving instead. Teo Arce hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Saverio Dominix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Sarr, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. It was a penalty for Quebrachitos FC! Gualterio Loco had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Jacinto Marcones's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
In the 53rd minute, Ignacio Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualterio Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Harriet. With a little luck, La Maquina 9-12-18's Saverio Dominix got control of the ball when Paul George tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gualterio Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Iban in the 61st minute of play. Celedonio Gaizkine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Aquilino Montay came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Quebrachitos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Montay couldn't finish the play. Tadeo Mannie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Jacinto Marcones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Urtsua hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Victorino Iban charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Iban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Quebrachitos FC booed when La Maquina 9-12-18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Iban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saverio Dominix was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Tadeo Mannie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tadeo Mannie really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Gualterio Loco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Telo in the 80th minute of the match. Gualterio Loco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantino Urtsua went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute Victorino Iban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, La Maquina 9-12-18's Victorino Iban nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualterio Loco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 90 minutes of play, La Maquina 9-12-18's Juan Telo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualterio Loco was left in no man's land by his defense there! La Maquina 9-12-18 made a substitution. Baldomero Frasco replaced Constantino Urtsua.
