The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, César Balladares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Snorlax FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Rose 1979 the free kick. César Balladares hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Celedonio Iraitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 33rd minute Norberto Medardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jhonny Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, César Balladares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Iraitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Selmo Rast sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

Celedonio Iraitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
