Rafael Bela didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 11th minute. NUMBA's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Bela got free with Luciano Azeari in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cecilio Peter charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Peter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Cecilio Peter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Epifanio Orkatz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Perrando was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Juan Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Orkatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Peter in the 40th minute of the match. Luciano Azeari made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Rafael Bela sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Epifanio Orkatz made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Rafael Bela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Azeari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cósmico's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Peter came free, but Luciano Azeari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NUMBA's Juan Perrando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save NUMBA from getting a goal against them. Jonatan Cuarto hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match Erasmo Gonsalvo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Azeari skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Peter in the 67th minute of play forced Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper Luciano Azeari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barrilete Cósmico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erasmo Gonsalvo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cosme Ayala almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barrilete Cósmico's Luciano Azeari did a great save. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 5-4 when Cecilio Peter sped through Barrilete Cósmico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luciano Azeari. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The NUMBA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barrilete Cósmico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
