Silvio Llope started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Narciso Acevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernan Rio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Llope in the 10th minute. A collision led to Black Rose 1979 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Norberto Medardo hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Islas FC got a freekick which was hit by Severino Joanes. Norberto Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Silvio Llope reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernan Rio. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 25th match minute, Islas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Iruinea to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Islas FC's goalkeeper Fernan Rio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Llope. After 40 played minutes Maximiliano Dalmu rounded Islas FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. The supporters of Islas FC booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Dalmu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Islas FC's zone, Silvio Llope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Rio came out of the goal and Silvio Llope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Acevedo came free, but Celedonio Iraitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Black Rose 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Jax to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermegildo Joey was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Norberto Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Rose 1979's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Medardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernan Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Llope in the 61st minute of the match. Norberto Medardo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match, Narciso Acevedo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Celedonio Iraitz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Black Rose 1979's zone, Ermegildo Joey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Iraitz came out of the goal and Ermegildo Joey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celedonio Iraitz made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ermegildo Joey sent off a good shot on target. When Mariano Oriche came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Islas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Oriche couldn't finish the play. Fernan Rio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Dalmu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Fernan Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Llope in the 85th minute of play. Islas FC's Fernan Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Llope in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Islas FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Nicolas Iruinea hit a great ball. Fernan Rio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Norberto Medardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black Rose 1979 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Islas FC for a fine match.
