After 15 minutes, Florencio Txeru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF Scalonetos and the Barrilete Cósmico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vicente Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Cuarto in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Reynaldo Huly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Justino Avellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Orkatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. When Ignacio Roldan fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Scalonetos's protests and gave Ignacio Roldan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CF Scalonetos getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ignacio Roldan hit a great ball. The supporters of Barrilete Cósmico booed when CF Scalonetos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Orkatz in the 37th minute of play forced CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Vicente Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Orkatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vicente Beliran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CF Scalonetos's Vicente Beliran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Orkatz in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute Epifanio Orkatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Beliran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Orkatz in the 44th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Epifanio Orkatz to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, CF Scalonetos's Romulo Cucao got a free kick in the 51st minute. Epifanio Orkatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Beliran having to interfere. A collision led to CF Scalonetos getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Romulo Cucao hit a great ball. If Jonatan Cuarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th match minute, CF Scalonetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Senio to maneuver through the defense. Luciano Azeari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Manny, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute, Barrilete Cósmico's Epifanio Orkatz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Ignacio Roldan got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 75th match minute, CF Scalonetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Roldan to maneuver through the defense. Sixto Ugaitz hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Vicente Beliran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Cuarto. In the 80th minute, Epifanio Orkatz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Epifanio Orkatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Beliran having to interfere. After 83 played minutes CF Scalonetos got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Cucao. CF Scalonetos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrilete Cósmico the free kick. Sixto Ugaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Sixto Ugaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Azeari having to interfere. The CF Scalonetos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barrilete Cósmico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
