The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Carlomagno in the 7th minute of play forced Gastres FC's goalkeeper Geronimo Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gastres FC's Teobaldo Belmiro got a free kick in the 8th minute. Arne Pååk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Belmiro in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Calistrat Geangu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arne Pååk. Calistrat Geangu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 24th minute of the match Gastres FC got a corner. Club Pueyrredón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mathieu Koning ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Pueyrredón's goalie and right to Calistrat Geangu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club Pueyrredón's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Benjamin Neto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Arne Pååk 29 minutes into the match. Arne Pååk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Neto in the 32nd minute of the match. Gastres FC were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Club Pueyrredón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mathieu Koning took the corner. Calistrat Geangu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermengildo Carlomagno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Geronimo Ongile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arne Pååk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The supporters of Club Pueyrredón booed when Gastres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Claus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Belmiro was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Teobaldo Belmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Pååk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arne Pååk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Neto in the 54th minute of play. Club Pueyrredón's Arne Pååk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Neto in the 54th minute of play. Arne Pååk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Neto went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Club Pueyrredón's Arne Pååk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Neto in the 60th minute of play. Arne Pååk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Belmiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Gastres FC's Göran Nyström was substituted for Feliberto Cuarto. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Belmiro in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne Pååk saved Club Pueyrredón from getting behind. Vito de Amorim scored 4-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geronimo Ongile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gastres FC made a substitution. Edgardo Javiar replaced Benjamin Neto. In the 89th minute, Amador Gomesano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute Teobaldo Belmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Pååk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ivan Maureo fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Pueyrredón's protests and gave Ivan Maureo a yellow card for diving instead. Edgardo Javiar struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Arne Pååk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gastres FC. Arne Pååk came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Gastres FC's Teobaldo Belmiro. But to his dismay, Teobaldo Belmiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Arne Pååk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Javiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. After 98 minutes, Amador Gomesano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Pueyrredón and the Gastres FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee ended the match the Gastres FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
