In the 22nd minute, Héctor Mainer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacobo Mendiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Neto in the 25th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Luar couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Gastres FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ throughout the match.
