Gasteiz Latorre started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, River Plate ® 9-12's Jimeno Jimeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremy Avellana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Muhammet Ökten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremy Avellana was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Rigoberto Bihar made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Gasteiz Latorre sent off a good shot on target. Gasteiz Latorre's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rigoberto Bihar firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jeremy Avellana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Silvanito in the 13th minute of play. Rigoberto Bihar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gasteiz Latorre in the 17th minute. Muhammet Ökten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Avellana having to interfere. After some careless play in the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo defense, Muhammet Ökten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremy Avellana. The Club Dep. Soc. Rodo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremy Avellana should have stopped the shot. Jeremy Avellana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Silvanito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremy Avellana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fang Zhan Ao in the 35th minute of play. Jeremy Avellana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammet Ökten in the 41st minute of the match. After the first half River Plate ® 9-12 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Placido Silvanito to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Club Dep. Soc. Rodo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Guto Pirani hit a great ball. River Plate ® 9-12's Rigoberto Bihar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Öberg in the 54th minute of play. Rigoberto Bihar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anthon Öberg went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthon Öberg in the 59th minute of play forced River Plate ® 9-12's goalkeeper Rigoberto Bihar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anthon Öberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthon Öberg in the 66th minute of play forced River Plate ® 9-12's goalkeeper Rigoberto Bihar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Deunoro Barbadillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Anthon Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Bihar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Bihar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthon Öberg in the 93rd minute of play. Jeremy Avellana made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Jimeno Jimeno sent off a good shot on target. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of River Plate ® 9-12 for a fine match.
