Wei De Ling hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. AC Rangers's Wei De Ling managed to work through Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Wei De Ling dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gasteiz Latorre in the 10th minute of play forced AC Rangers's goalkeeper Rosendo Balesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC Rangers's Rosendo Balesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gasteiz Latorre in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Gasteiz Latorre notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AC Rangers's Rosendo Balesio. Rosendo Balesio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rosendo Balesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gasteiz Latorre in the 19th minute of the match. Gasteiz Latorre scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rosendo Balesio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Jeremy Avellana managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when AC Rangers's Wei De Ling fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. AC Rangers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gasteiz Latorre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The corner went over the outstretched arms of AC Rangers's goalie and right to Del Manfredi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. AC Rangers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some careless play in the AC Rangers defense, Gasteiz Latorre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosendo Balesio. The AC Rangers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosendo Balesio should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Cao Kuan Wei was substituted for Marco Aguirre. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Anthon Öberg was substituted for Gasteiz Latorre. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amancio Inocente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to AC Rangers getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Salvador Ubarna hit a great ball. Rodo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
