After a defensive mix-up in Gastres FC's zone, Cleto Firmin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Ongile came out of the goal and Cleto Firmin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loco Malo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Figueroa came free, but Geronimo Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Gastres FC's Teobaldo Belmiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loco Malo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cleto Firmin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Geronimo Ongile skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lagrima en Jarrita's Loco Malo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Belmiro in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Teobaldo Belmiro made a precise shot to the right of Loco Malo. Lagrima en Jarrita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Gastres FC's Geronimo Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Figueroa in the 44th minute of play. Geronimo Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Figueroa in the 47th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Teodosio Figueroa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Ongile was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Gastres FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teobaldo Belmiro to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Lagrima en Jarrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songurhan Torlak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobaldo Belmiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Loco Malo came out and tried to block the shot, but Teobaldo Belmiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute Cleto Firmin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Lagrima en Jarrita's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Neto came free, but Loco Malo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geronimo Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ma Mo Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gastres FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olgierd Karanowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Lagrima en Jarrita's players had a chance to rest. Domingos Gaitan made a great header on Lagrima en Jarrita's corner, it was just that Gastres FC's Geronimo Ongile managed to reach the ball for a save. Mathieu Koning struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Loco Malo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gastres FC. Leonello Messias scored 3-3 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geronimo Ongile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gastres FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Lagrima en Jarrita to leave the ground with a draw.
