Rodo's Jeremy Avellana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Club Dep. Soc. Rodo from getting a goal against them. After 30 minutes of play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Gasteiz Latorre made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihkel Aksalu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the game, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Gasteiz Latorre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodo's zone, Nacho Hernández stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Avellana came out of the goal and Nacho Hernández tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th match minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Del Manfredi to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute of the match, Nacho Hernández tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jeremy Avellana saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half Club Dep. Soc. Rodo were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nacho Hernández to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Dep. Moron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gao Kun Ling to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Mihkel Aksalu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gao Kun Ling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremy Avellana was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Moron supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Dep. Soc. Rodo.
