The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Petruț Ailincai kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Severino came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mano Hume didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Severino went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bartolo Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Piatek, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 25 minutes into the match, MARTINETA's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Piatek came free, but Bartolo Beliran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arkadiusz Piatek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute Arkadiusz Piatek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mano Hume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Severino in the 33rd minute of play. Arkadiusz Piatek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enzo-Nicolás Madrid made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rafal Kaszubowski however managed to control. A collision led to Utopía Muerta FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alp Kaya hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes Utopía Muerta FC got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Santiago. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arkadiusz Piatek made a kick off. Mano Hume showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lv Qiang Xiao in the 57th minute of the match. MARTINETA's Bartolo Beliran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Piatek in the 58th minute of play. Petruț Ailincai kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Utopía Muerta FC's Braulio Hibai was substituted for Anier Johans. A collision led to MARTINETA getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Petruț Ailincai hit a great ball. Bartolo Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Bermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lv Qiang Xiao came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Severino. If Severo Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MARTINETA made a substitution. Carlos Cesaro replaced João Severino. Bartolo Beliran came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Utopía Muerta FC's Braulio Hibai. But to his dismay, Braulio Hibai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Hibai in the 86th minute of play forced MARTINETA's goalkeeper Bartolo Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolo Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes MARTINETA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fermin Martinez who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of MARTINETA's goalie and right to Ildefonso Abalos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. MARTINETA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The MARTINETA players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Utopía Muerta FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
