In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Bernardino Dimas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfredo Nuñez in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Dimas saved Atlético Rio Cuarto from getting behind. Bernardino Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Nuñez in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Atlético Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Nuñez came free, but Bernardino Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Godfredo Nuñez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardino Dimas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Nuñez in the 33rd minute of play forced Atlético Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Bernardino Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Nuñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardino Dimas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Godfredo Nuñez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardino Dimas having to make a save. Bernardino Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godfredo Nuñez struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Bernardino Dimas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo. Wilfredo Nikola succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 94th playminute. The Atlético Rio Cuarto fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
