After a defensive mix-up in Menchu FC's zone, Wawrzyniec Dejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Salvidor came out of the goal and Wawrzyniec Dejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nejat Alp Tuğrul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Salvidor having to make a save. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nejat Alp Tuğrul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriele Batistuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prejun Saer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriele Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabriele Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Prejun Saer made a huge save. After 29 minutes Menchu FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Guillelmo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led BINGO FUEL's Miroslaw Chwalkiewicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Camilo Salvidor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gabriele Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Prejun Saer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nejat Alp Tuğrul in the 41st minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nejat Alp Tuğrul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gabriele Batistuta took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prejun Saer. Prejun Saer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 58 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Carlo. BINGO FUEL made a substitution. Harold Pothuizen replaced Helmut Männik. In the 59th minute, Roberto Carlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gabriele Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Prejun Saer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriele Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prejun Saer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriele Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Menchu FC made a substitution. Arturo Roderigo replaced Peter Söderqwist. BINGO FUEL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrés D'Alessandro in the 81st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Camilo Salvidor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Roberto Carlo got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Carlo to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Gabriele Batistuta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menchu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 96 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Braian Romero came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Menchu FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
