After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Godfredo Nuñez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Hitz to make the kick off. Petras Anusauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Matorin in the 55th minute of play. Gerardo Hitz's late challenge caught a C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Hitz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Gerardo Hitz got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Aureliano Negro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Negro came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karl-Johan Ahlqvist could save by the left post. Aureliano Negro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Karl-Johan Ahlqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
