Gustavo Quentin started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Quentin in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saved Black Rose 1979 from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Quentin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. The RIVER PINAMAR fc fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when RIVER PINAMAR fc's Gustavo Quentin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 11th minute Gerardo Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Salomon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Salomon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, RIVER PINAMAR fc's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Hitz came free, but Luciano Salomon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Salomon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Enekoitz in the 41st minute of play. Luciano Salomon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Hitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luciano Salomon came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Rose 1979's Waldemar Matorin. But to his dismay, Waldemar Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. RIVER PINAMAR fc's Philip Västerstrand was substituted for Aleksander Piszczor. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Hitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, RIVER PINAMAR fc's Maximo Todor got a free kick in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Markos Mavrikos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Johan Ahlqvist. Black Rose 1979's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Markos Mavrikos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. With a little luck, RIVER PINAMAR fc's Luciano Salomon got control of the ball when Sebastian Enekoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Black Rose 1979 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
