After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Oxarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petras Anusauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Godfredo Nuñez made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Salvidor. Menchu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Gabriele Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petras Anusauskas having to make a save. 25 minutes into the match, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Petras Anusauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petras Anusauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Gabriele Batistuta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petras Anusauskas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 32 played minutes C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Oxarra. In the 42nd minute of the game Justo Dalmai made a throw-in which Godfredo Nuñez played forward. The throw-in from Tomas Cordaryal in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Teofilo Oxarra. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriele Batistuta was the one to do the kick off. Petras Anusauskas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriele Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After 60 minutes of play, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Erasmo Jago made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Salvidor was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the game, Harry Winter threw the ball into play from the sideline. Menchu FC's Armando Roland quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo made a substitution. Wilfredo Nikola replaced Erasmo Jago. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo made a substitution. Luciano Segio replaced Lu Yang Xing. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo made a substitution. Aureliano Negro replaced Godfredo Nuñez. Menchu FC made a substitution. Primitivo Rocendo replaced Roberto Carlo. Harry Winter made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Menchu FC's Primitivo Rocendo. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Martínez Quarta was slow to take the kick. During this time Menchu FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Carlos Campelo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Petras Anusauskas did a great save. Petras Anusauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 76th minute of play. After taking down the ball on C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's corner Teofilo Oxarra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Camilo Salvidor quite easily take care of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Firmo came free, but Petras Anusauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 minutes, Cristian Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo and the Menchu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Wilfredo Nikola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Nikola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Campelo to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Firmo in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petras Anusauskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Menchu FC for a fine match.
