Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Maxin in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Tiburones Machos's goalkeeper Feliciano Quentin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriele Batistuta. After 15 minutes of play, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliciano Quentin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiburones Machos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Gabriele Batistuta scored to the left of an out of position Feliciano Quentin, making the score, 2-0. Feliciano Quentin came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta. But to his dismay, Gabriele Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of Tiburones Machos booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Jupân didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriele Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriele Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliciano Quentin having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriele Batistuta in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliciano Quentin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Tiburones Machos's Rosendo Rios was substituted for Bartlomiej Rybak. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriele Batistuta made a kick off. Gabriele Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 53rd minute of play forced Tiburones Machos's goalkeeper Feliciano Quentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Tiburones Machos's Franciszek Lerych made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Salvidor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiburones Machos made a substitution. Marko Hultin replaced Eustacio Tadzio. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Hultin in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Tiburones Machos's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Feliciano Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Menchu FC made a substitution. Uriel Gorri replaced Peter Söderqwist. After 70 minutes Tiburones Machos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Martínez Quarta who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliciano Quentin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Menchu FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucas Martínez Quarta in the 78th minute. At last the ball reached Armando Roland at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Tiburones Machos. 4-1. Gabriele Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliciano Quentin having to make a save. 87 minutes into the match, Tiburones Machos's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Feliciano Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosendo Rios's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Camilo Salvidor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tiburones Machos's Feliciano Quentin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Campelo in the 95th minute of play. Feliciano Quentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Tiburones Machos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
